Peristeria tholos tomb 2, Messenia
Height: 1.5 cm
Terracotta figurine of a woman wearing a bell-shaped dress. The right hand on the belly and the left one between the bare breasts. A few faint traces of colour at the right part of the face and neck, along with horizontal bands on the dress. Found in tholos tomb 2 at Peristeria, it resembles similar figurines from Petsofas in Crete, an indication of the contacts of Peristeria with the minoan civilization.
