Large ceramic ladle from the palace of Nestor. Used to serve liquids. Brownish-yellow to cinder-coloured clay, caused by the fire that destructed the palatial complex. A hanging through hole at the end of the handle. Found in Room 60, the so-called pantry. This room had wooden shelves on all four sides, used to store the vessels kept in there. A total of 850 vessels of 25 different types were found inside it. The assemblage comprised feeding bottles, skyphoi, ladles, cups, shallow bowls, amphoriskoi, small kraters, alabastra, incense burners and kylikes.
