Handle less bowl (skyphos) with a semi globular body, made of brownish-yellow glass. Grooves below the rim both on the interior and the exterior. The latter is decorated with relief vertical stripes or elongated petals. A six-arm star at the interior bottom, inside a series of concentric circles. A rare find, this type of luxurious monochrome vessel traces its ancestry in Hellenistic times and survives into later periods. Possibly of Alexandrine origin, it had been placed as an offering inside a pit grave at Tsopani Rachi, Tragana.
