Left foot of a colossal statue attributed to Theban Heracles, stood at the Asclepieion of ancient Messene. Part of the left foot is preserved, integratd with the plinth and a support. The foot is partially raised, in contact with the support. An orthogonal socket is visible at the left side of the plinth. The fragment could possibly be a part of the same statue of Theban Heracles as the head no. ΑΜΑΜ3337. Work of the sculptor Damophon.
